My winter staple: the chunky knit
A chunky polo neck jumper is one of my top 3 winter essentials along with a good coat and pair of boots. I love a big oversized neutral (shock) number. Something comfy that can be worn over and over with different trousers, jeans, coats etc. Like I have mentioned before it's all about multiple wear when I shop these days, the polo neck below is a great choice as I'll be throwing it on with jeans and trainers for playgroups and in the real depths of winter with black trousers and heels when out in the evening. I actaully ordered this style in two colours as I know I'll be wearing it to death over the next few months.
When in search of a jumper I am quite specific in that I like the big polo neck styles and something that covers my bum and tummy as the winter diet takes over. Looking at these pictures I can see it's not the most flattering choice but if I wear tight bottoms it makes a nice silloutte.
Here I teamed it with these leather look trousers which are a great quality PU, something Zara seem to be great at sourcing, and a blooming bargin at £19.99. For a day around town and at the swings a flat boot was needed. These are my winter boots from last winter and again from Zara (Zara addict anyone?!). My Prada bag was a 30th birthday present from Phil which sadly doesn't get taken out much these days, similar styles here.
This monkey seems pretty happy with my choice!
