Hi.

Welcome to my blog. Here I document our adventures with some style, interiors and food thrown in!

Fedora hat Sundays

Fedora hat Sundays

I've always been a hat person, in fact I bought ladies accessories for a large chunk of my buying career. Whether it be a knitted bobble in winter or a straw fedora on the beach in summer, a hat can really make an outfit and is perfect for covering a bad hair day!

I love a structured wool / felt hat in winter and have owned many over the years. They are a great way to smarten up an outfit and really make a statement. My shape of choice is the fedora but you can of course go for a larger floppy style or a shorter brim trilby. This week I was at Bicester Village and spotted this beaut in Ted Baker, heavily reduced I snapped it up. An added bonus was I used some vouchers my besties had given me for my birthday back in July.

I love the contrast of the navy and burgundy and it goes really well with my Navy Reiss coat (similar here and here, jeans F&F, half price Jumper French connection). See below some of my favourites alternatives I have found online:

 1. Camel TOPSHOP Hat here , 2. Burgundy REISS hat with ribbon here , 3. Plain black ASOS hat here , 4. Black BRIXTON hat here , 5. Grey MONSOON hat here , 6. Camel ZARA hat here , 7. Blush pink REISS hat with ribbon hat here , 8. Bottle green MONSOON hat here .
